Weddings are steeped in traditions and we have loved learning and incorporating traditions that are sentimental to couples into their unique wedding day. From Log Sawing (Baumstamm Sägen) to Hand-tying, Open Mics to Mehndi ceremonies, Sangeets and Mandaps these touches have made each and every wedding different and personal to that individual couple.
From Tractors to Vintage cars, Campervans to Horse drawn carriages, helicopters (plenty of landing space close to the venue) and even a sleigh pulled by Reindeer we LOVE the entrance of the bridal parties… and yes we confess we are often watching out the office windows or on the security cameras for a sneak peek!
Who doesn’t love having multiple Bentleys parked in your cobbled courtyard, Vintage car rallies or off road driving with Landrover. From Photoshoots for high end Horsewear (amazing horses and dogs onsite) we love a bit of variety.
Being firm dog lovers ourselves we have hosted many a dog friendly wedding at Larchfield Estate – from precious pets walking their humans up the aisle through to Horses coming for the photos (or photoshoots!) we like to think our happy clients are not always two legged! We also work amongst our trusted suppliers with companies who can come and pick up your beloved four legged friend and give them an evening full of treats away from the wedding so that you can relax and they too have a ball. (No 23 is dog friendly but we never recommend leaving your dog(s) alone)… and of course we have our resident Alpacas and Miniature Donkeys onsite for all to enjoy saying hello to.
And of course Larchfield Estate, our beloved and unique wedding venue in Northern Ireland, proudly hosted the now-viral wedding featuring an incredible 95 bridesmaids — yes, 95! This unforgettable celebration, featured on BBCNews, This Morning, AOL, The Telegraph, The Times, The Daily Mail, The New York Post, People.com , and more, has captured hearts around the world.
From our beautifully restored Georgian estate to our passionate events team, we love helping couples bring even the wildest wedding dreams to life. Whether you're planning a themed wedding, dreaming of a show stopping entrance, or envisioning something completely unexpected (we’ve transformed our dancefloor into a ski chalet, turned the barn into a woodland glade, and even driven classic cars inside), do let us know - the Events team at Larchfield Estate are here to help and will do what they can to help make it happen.
