Ellie and Jamie were married at Larchfield Estate on Saturday 9th March 2013. As we had no event booked in for Friday, Ellie was here with her bridesmaids putting her own personal touches to the wedding décor - from the candles on the window sills in the Stables where the ceremony took place, lanterns on the cake tree in the main barn to the colourful table plan hearts hung up in the marquee area.
The Stables was warm and cosy for the guests while they waited for the arrival of Ellie (bridal car provided by Klass Cars). Guests then moved through to bar/lounge area in the barn for the drinks reception before moving on through to the main room in the barn for dinner which was served at 6.30pm by The Fatted Calf.
The light curtains, backdrops, grand entrances, beam drapes, poseur tables, pom poms were provided by Melanie at Mood Events.
Jukebox Jurors set up in the oak floored dance room where the evening dancing took place.
Providing great entertainment was the photo booth in the marquee, Ellie and Jamie said they laughed lots the next day with photos of their guests in silly poses with hats etc. on – guests had been asked to stick their photos into the guest book and write a little message next to it – a great keepsake of the day.
Ellie made full use of the accommodation on site with both Rose Cottage and The Willows being booked for the bridal party as well as some of the guests.
Whilst the weather wasn't great Ellie and Jamie were able to make use of the sheltered areas - the lean to in the Stables courtyard and the greenhouse but to name a few... proving all is not lost if wet!
We wish them a very happily married life together.
